The golf course surrounds the geographical center of Europe established by the scientists of the French National Institute of Geography in 1989. The golf course occupies an area of over 83 hectares. The length of the golf course fields amounts to 6600 meters, which enables golfers to play a round in 71 strokes. The golf course has been designed not only to be user-friendly for beginners, but also to provide an opportunity for developing all the necessary skills in the game and make use of all clubs in the bag. Professionals are invited to play an extremely interesting and complex game that involves numerous water hazards, such as Lake Girija, a lot of ponds, water channels, and other natural obstacles to constantly keep golfers on their toes!

Another unique feature of the "European Center Golf Club" is the proximity of cultural and historical heritage objects within the area, i.e. a mound, an alka  (a place of pagan sacrifice) hill, and an oak grove commemorating land reform. More over, one of the famous geodetic stations of the arc of the meridian has been determined to be near the golf club. The geodetic station station is station is also included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
